Transfer to Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya

Visit Na Tipkasem Farm, the learning centre specializes on organic rice farming and Thai farmers’ way of life. Get hands-on experience on rice farming as well as fun-filled tradition. Activities available here are in line with the cycle of rice farming, starting with fun rice seedling, transplanting sprouts in the rice field to “Long Khaek Kiaw Khao”, when farmers join hands during the heyday. Learn how to select the best quality of rice grain and attend Thai cooking class among picturesque paddy field. Do not miss to roast chicken in the big terra cotta jar which is called “Kai Ob Ong”.

Lunch and enjoy the meal that you help preparing and cooking.

Relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Thailand’s countryside. Get a glimpse of rural life by paddling a boat, swimming in a Chao Phraya River or dipping your feet in a small canal running by the rice paddys.

Check in hotel in Phra Nakorn Si Ayutthaya and free at your leisure.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Visit Koh Kerd Community. The programme starts from Aunty Lampun’s house, a village leader who turned a rural village into an established community based tourism destination. Relax and appreciate a slow life along the Chao Phraya River. Aunty Lampun will share her knowledge on Thai herb and medicine. Next, visit Aunty Moi and to learn how to make a healthy Thai sweet from milk and rice grain called “Khao Yakoo”. Enjoy the unique dish right on the site among great view of rural Thailand.
13.00 Hrs.
After lunch, explore the country village on local tram. Visit organic farms, lime plantations, local carpenter’s house and other places around the village. Stop at house of Aunty Sala who makes Thai traditional sweet “Khanom Moh Kaeng” which was originally inspired by Portuguese dessert. Return to Aunty Lampun’s house, relax and enjoy the easy afternoon life by the Chao Phraya River. Leave for Nakhon Pathom. Check in at a hotel and free at your leisure.

Explore the exciting street food site in downtown Nakhon Pathom among the stunning backdrop of Phra Pathom Jedi, the country’s biggest pagoda. You will be amazed among hundreds of food stalls, which have something for everyone.

Arrive cycling destination at Mahasawat in Nakhon Pathom. This easy cycling trip take you through a land of canals crisscrossing, smiling people, rice paddies, orchid farms, lotus fields, fruit orchards and rural life. Get a chance to get close to local people, try the local food and learn to make Thai snack. It is a great way of unwinding and experiencing simple pleasures of life. The distance is approximately 8-10 kms. Lunch is served at a local food shop on the way.

Experience Thai relaxing massage at a Riverside Spa Resort. Wash yourself after a cycling and relax your muscle with excellent Thai massage for approximately 2 hours.

Return to Bangkok
