PRE-TOUR
Booking Conditions for Pre-tours of the TTM+ 2022
  1. All tours are on a first-come, first-served basis for Buyers and Media of the TTM+ 2022 only. TAT reserves the right to close the bookings if fully booked.
  2. TAT reserves the right to adjust the programmes without prior notice.
  3. TAT reserves the right to cancel any programmes with less than 10 participants.
  4. All cancellations and changes are required to be sent in writing by email before 11 May, 2022.
  5. All pre-tours will start on 8 June, 2022, and depart from the official hotels only.
  6. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is not responsible for any expenses. In the event that tourists are infected with COVID-19 while participating in activities with TAT
  7. Travellers must strictly comply with Thailand's public health measures, and must wear a mask at all times.

Here, we will meet with local community that aims to preserve a rare breed of Phuket’s buffalo before they go extinct and also to preserve the last rice field of Mai Khao, Phuket. Now, Phuket is not known for its rice fields, it used to be a time when rice and buffaloes were a big part of the local economy. Get to Mai Khao beach and experience and ancient wellness therapy that heals and relax your body. Enjoy sand spa and then massage on the beach. (please bring beach towel from your hotel and dry cloth for change which is suitable for entering a temple). Try your skill fishing for sand crab, a famous of sea food dish that only available in Phuket. Join villages to plant local seaside vegetables and get ready for lunch.

Meet at the meeting point, at Laem Took-Kae, a community of 350 Urak Lawoi families who had migrated from Aceh, Indonesia and settled in this area hundreds of years ago. Listen to their stories of life, their belief and enjoy their folk dance of Rong-Ngeng, learn how they make fishing gears and how to prepare clam for cooking. During low tide, women of Laem Took-Kae come out to collect food at sandy beaches, rocky beaches, coral reefs, and mangrove forests around the villages such as clams and scallops.

After visiting one of the fresh ingredient sources then continue to a local shrine to learn how religion plays an important part in Phuket’s cuisine including a story of Phuket’s famous Vegetarian Festival, a colourful annual event held on the 9th lunar month of the Chinese calendar.

This application, when submitted, shall serve as an agreement between the applicant’s organisation and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) that the above terms and conditions have been read and understood by the applicant. POST-TOUR
Booking Conditions for Post-tours of the TTM+ 2022
  1. All tours are on a first-come, first-served basis for Buyers and Media of the TTM+ 2022 only. TAT reserves the right to close the bookings if fully booked.
  2. TAT reserves the right to adjust the programmes without prior notice.
  3. TAT reserves the right to cancel any programmes with less than 6 participants.
  4. For post-tour participants, a passport with at least 6 months validity is compulsory.
  5. Post-tours reservation will be closed on Monday, 16 May, 2022.
  6. To guarantee your booking, the full payment has to be made within 23 May, 2022.
  7. Any cancellations should be sent in writing directly to the TTM+ 2022 Post-tours no later than Monday, 23 May, 2022, at 16.00 Hrs. Bangkok time (GMT +7).
  8. No refund and changes will be allowed after 23 May, 2022.
  9. All post-tours will start on 11 June, 2022, and depart from the official hotels only.
  10. Participants are requested to provide their credit card details.

The Southern Elephant Hospital was established in 2010 and it’s welcoming elephants from the southern part of Thailand, around 15 elephants per month, to get the treatment the need.
